i thought some of you might be instrested in ringtones from epitaph bands for your cell phone. i saw an ad for this a few days ago. "It works with most ATT, Cingular, and Tmobile service. Standard text messaging rates apply." all you have to do is send a text message to 73804 with the word "EPITAPH". i got a Time Bomb-Rancid and For Boston-Dropkick Murphys tone! they have a whole bunch of other bands too, you should check it out!
so with that being said by our blonde cheerleading lovely co-host...this place is dead. so to ANYONE in SAN DIEGO. its time to support our many hispanic fronted local bands. anyone who likes good music and rock and roll(NOT rockabilly)i mean real rock and roll agression come see THE PUPILS on AUGUST 5th @the BEAN BAR....this is no joke, this is the name of the coffee shop. my goal is to have the show be so full of mexicans, other people will run for their lives...or live in harmony with us. so come check out the pupils on mysapce.com/thepupils
Hey everyone, my band No Regrets is a punk band ( i guess you could call us skate punk, but we bounce around genres of punk) just finished up a 2 month recording in the studio and would love to get some of our shit out there. you can find 3 of our 12 songs here:
well i dont post on this much, i figured it was my mexican duty to do so once more. But enough of that, im here on more important matters. if you live in the san diego area, check out los mockers on the oh so damn fuckin popular myspace. is there nowhere the internet can take us? http://www.myspace.com/losmockers
so what are los mockers you say? this is my creation composed of 3 white boys and me. although derek is 1/4 mexican, he still looks pretty white. we are currently recording so expect a demo soon. and as far as our music goes...its highly inspired by the feel good tunes of the 1960s, and the teenage garage bands from the time. so dont be shy, we may not have mohawks, or studded leather, but weve all been down that path. now we want to play some good fucking music. take a gander. drop a line. check us out.

Yeah, hi. I've been a member of this community for a while. I'm sick of this place (where I live) and my goal is to move away from here sometime this next summer or fall. So my question is: does anyone have any suggestions as to where to move. My main criteria is an active local music scene, but most importanly (to me) is are the people cool. I drink, occasionally smoke, and eat meat, if that makes a difference to anyone.
