i thought some of you might be instrested in ringtones from epitaph bands for your cell phone. i saw an ad for this a few days ago. "It works with most ATT, Cingular, and Tmobile service. Standard text messaging rates apply." all you have to do is send a text message to 73804 with the word "EPITAPH". i got a Time Bomb-Rancid and For Boston-Dropkick Murphys tone! they have a whole bunch of other bands too, you should check it out!

hello putos [08 Feb 2005|10:38pm]

dead_boy77
well i dont post on this much, i figured it was my mexican duty to do so once more. But enough of that, im here on more important matters. if you live in the san diego area, check out los mockers on the oh so damn fuckin popular myspace. is there nowhere the internet can take us? http://www.myspace.com/losmockers

so what are los mockers you say? this is my creation composed of 3 white boys and me. although derek is 1/4 mexican, he still looks pretty white. we are currently recording so expect a demo soon. and as far as our music goes...its highly inspired by the feel good tunes of the 1960s, and the teenage garage bands from the time. so dont be shy, we may not have mohawks, or studded leather, but weve all been down that path. now we want to play some good fucking music. take a gander. drop a line. check us out.

in search of home. [18 Dec 2004|05:02am]

Yeah, hi. I've been a member of this community for a while. I'm sick of this place (where I live) and my goal is to move away from here sometime this next summer or fall. So my question is: does anyone have any suggestions as to where to move. My main criteria is an active local music scene, but most importanly (to me) is are the people cool. I drink, occasionally smoke, and eat meat, if that makes a difference to anyone.

*x-posted like a motherfucker.

Concert suggestions/questions! [14 Dec 2004|03:16pm]

silent_abyss
[ mood | curious ]

Let me, help you :) (cheesy, i know)

Seriously though...please answer these questions for me.

HOW MANY CONCERTS ON AVERAGE DID YOU ATTEND THIS YEAR?

WOULD YOU HAVE WANTED TO GO TO MORE?

IF YES, WHY DIDN'T YOU?

IF NO, WHY NOT?

WHAT DO YOU PREFER, BIG VENUES OR SMALLER PLACES?

WHEN YOU HEAR A SHOW IS SOLD OUT, DO YOU MAKE AN EFFORT TO KEEP TRYING?

WHAT'S THE ONE THING YOU LOVE ABOUT CONCERTS?

WHAT'S THE ONE THING YOU HATE?

Please fill in the blank... If I had _____ at every show, I would want to go to another one!

Thank you VERY much!!!
